The S9 is a large, quiet executive saloon developed by BAIC on HUAWEI's electric and software platform. It uses air suspension with rear-axle steering, a high-voltage architecture for fast charging, and an assistance package that depends on cameras and radar staying precisely calibrated. Servicing a car like this is a measurement exercise as much as a mechanical one - state of health, charge rates, ride height and calibration data say more than a visual check. At EVS we test the battery and thermal system, diagnose the drive units, repair and recalibrate the suspension, service brakes that spend most of their life regenerating rather than gripping, and carry out software and sensor work.
