The 917 sits above the 817 in MHERO's range: a bigger, more capable electric off-road SUV with independent drive at each wheel, greater output and a chassis built for load, wading and sustained rough-terrain use. Like its sibling it can run as a range-extended vehicle, so a petrol generator sits alongside the high-voltage system and needs conventional engine servicing.
